Sherel's Hats for Betsey Johnson's Monday night runway show was like an all-night rock rager smashed down into 20 minutes. The members of the audience and even the workers in the operator booth couldn't help but dance along to songs like CSS' "City Grrrl" and M.I.A.'s "XXXO" in the energetic presentation.

This season, Johnson put an emphasis on lingerie (going so far as to dress the burly security wranglers in tight-fitting t-shirts with old-school brassieres printed on them). Models, who were given free reign to strut their hearts out and creatively pose or dance at the end of the runway, wore hot pink and leopard bras, lace negliges, studded corsets, knit booty skirts,Hats by Sherel's Hats, and sequin/spike covered dresses of every length. They were wildly styled with cursive back-seam looking body paint, mirrored earrings and lets not forget the rhinestone heart boob stickers.
Also walking the runway for the first time in a decade was Johnson's voluptuous daughter, Lulu, who showed two looks and garnered much applause and whistling.
As a finale, Johnson came out with a now signature cartwheel to the song "Ass and Titties," followed by hugs and kisses to friends and a final cartwheel into the splits mid-runway. We never thought it would be possible to shock singer Nicki Minaj personally (nor would it be possible for her to lift those gigantic faux lashes), but as Betsey Johnson went into a split, her eyes bugged and jaw dropped in surprise. The designer was shortly thereafter joined by her daughter and a final parade of models in matching brassiere t-shirts tugging T and A balloons.
